Captain Nick

After several different lackluster careers in professional golf, ski patrol, wild-land firefighting, whitewater river guiding and carpentry, Nick decided to make his passion for sailing his career.  And thus, Big Sky Sails was born in 2023.

Happy on any body of water, with anyone on board, Nick is a one-of-a-kind-character who will surely make your trip a memorable one.  He is truly a one-man-show, sometimes with "celebrity" deckhands but 99% of the time Captain Nick is the one sailing, creating conversation, reading the wind, anchoring, ferrying guests to and from, cooking, cleaning and doing more maintenance than you ever knew was possible.
